I come to this work with deep respect for how challenging and personal it can be for schools and families supporting children who are struggling with behavioral challenges. Over more than 20 years as an educational leader and Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I have listened closely to the stories of educators and caregivers navigating uncertainty, frustration, and concern, and those experiences have shaped not only how I work but also why I do this work. This is personal to me.
Throughout my career supporting students with autism, developmental disabilities, social-emotional challenges, and complex behavioral needs across K–12 settings, I have focused on helping build environments where children feel safe, understood, and capable, and where the adults supporting them feel confident, informed, and supported. I have led interdisciplinary teams, developed specialized school programs, and guided systems that thoughtfully integrate academic, behavioral, and therapeutic services—always with the goal of promoting meaningful, measurable growth while preserving student dignity.
I currently serve as Director of Coral Reef Academy in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where I remotely oversee two private special education schools and launched the territory’s only private special education program on St. Thomas. In this role, and previously through more than a decade of leadership in California Non-Public Schools, I have partnered closely with schools and families to expand services, strengthen collaboration, and ensure high-quality, compliant, and evidence-informed practices that truly meet students where they are.
As a consultant, I work side by side with families, educators, and school teams to translate behavioral science into practical, sustainable strategies that support skill development, positive behavior change, and consistency across home and school environments. I measure success not only by progress and outcomes, but also by moments when stress begins to ease, trust is rebuilt, and hope feels possible again. My goal is to work collaboratively, with care and integrity, to help each child move forward in ways that honor who they are and support lasting success.
