Dr. Jody Miller, PhD, BCBA, LBA is an educational leader and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 20 years of experience supporting students with autism, developmental disabilities, social-emotional challenges, and complex behavioral needs across K–12 settings. She has led high-performing interdisciplinary teams, developed specialized school programs, and guided systems that integrate academic, behavioral, and therapeutic services to promote meaningful, measurable student growth.

Dr. Miller currently serves as Executive Director of Coral Reef Academy in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where she oversees two private special education schools and has successfully launched the territory’s only private special education program on St. Thomas. Under her leadership, enrollment, staffing capacity, and program offerings have significantly expanded to meet the needs of diverse learners and their families. Her career also includes more than a decade of leadership within California Non-Public Schools, where she directed multi-campus operations, strengthened school-family partnerships, and ensured full regulatory compliance while advancing evidence-informed instructional and behavioral practices.

As a consultant, Dr. Miller partners with families, educators, and school teams to translate behavioral science into practical, sustainable strategies that promote skill development, positive behavior change, and consistency across home and school environments. Her work emphasizes collaborative assessment, clear intervention planning, and data-informed decision-making grounded in compassion, respect, and student dignity.

Dr. Miller holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Leadership, a Master of Education degree in Educational Administration, completed specialized graduate coursework in Applied Behavior Analysis leading to BCBA certification, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health. She is an active member of multiple professional associations and frequently contributes to community education, parent training, and professional development initiatives across topics such as functional behavior assessment, school-based behavioral supports, and inclusive program design.
